Governance: Green
papers to be published on Council web-site to assist transparency; and
composition of Regent House under review

Finance and Management
Strategy:
Endowment policy is improving; resources allocation process
has been re-implememted; and papers to be drafted on financial and international
strategy

Communities of Cambridge:
working arrangements with Colleges are improving; committed to including
alumni community; and international strategy implemented

Education and Research:
consulation with Faculties about Tripos system taking place; and need to
develop Humanities further to compete for research institutes

Communications: Alumni
body encouraging development in US; and need to continue building our
strategic approaches

 

The Vice-Chancellor also
commented on her role, the role of PVCs, the development of the Registrary,
HEFCE, college teaching, the 800th campaign, access targets, and
security.
