West
Cambridge:

-           
Engagment has been at regional, County, and
City/District levels;

-           
Masterplanners have been engaged, and a
Working Group has been set up;

-           
Three Reports have been published since 2000;

-           
Market housing versus key worker housing is
now at 50/50 split;

-           
Key worker housing includes 1250 units for
University and College staff;

-           
Survey has been undertaken to consider demand
for keyworker housing;

-           
Consultation has taken place between City and
South Cambridgeshire Councils;

-           
Financial studies are being undertaken;

-           
Public Examination will take place after
Notice to Regent House;

-           
Separate team to run project under EMBS to be
considered by the Registrary; and

-           
Final plan has to be approved by the
Inspector.

West Cambridge:

-           
Work taking place with the East Forum; and

-           
Critical mass not at a stage yet to support a
corner shop

University
Bond: 

-           
Bond being considered for North West
Cambridge, Old Press site, and New Museums site.

Estates’ Strategy Plan:

-           
Considered by the Schools, PVCs, PRC and the
Finance Committee, which will lead to a Strategic Implementation Plan.
